More Than My Content

I am a music teacher.

Our school recently had a read-a-thon, where we tracked our reading minutes.
"I knew Ms. Yeh would win the teacher contest, she loves to read!" said one of my 5th graders.

I'm glad my students have picked up on my love of reading!

For Teacher Appreciation Week, the PTA put up pictures of all of the teachers when they were younger.

"I knew that one was Ms. Yeh, she's always smiling!" said one of my 2nd graders.

I'm glad my students see me as positive!

I am a music teacher, but I am more than my content area.
